Sketch book doodle

M.L. Rongo is small family operated business that designs industrial kitchens for the food service industry.

I  was inspired by older crest  logos when I chose the round shape. However, I didn't want to use the typical trendy format as this is an older and well established business. The spikes are representative of the steel blades ML Rongo uses to fabricate their custom designs. The blade also has a weathered texture to reiterate the companies long history. To save the family  owned company some money, I kept a grey scale color pallet that works well with the stainless steel equipment they produce.  I also designed two different  layouts for  the business cards. One is single-sided to save the client additional money.
