This tri-fold brochure is intended to be a guide to tasting craft beers for a novice. The target audience would be in their early 20's and new to drinking at a bar. The pamphlets would likely be found in table toppers, microbrewery tours, or even at tastings. It begins with a description of three main ingredients. The first inside panel is a five step process to tasting. The final two panels outline eight basic types of beer. The illustrations are all hand drawn and original. I want to mimic wood-carved stamps to compliment the Victorian style of the brochure. I chose a Victorian style of design to parody the conservative nature of the Victorian era but also to demonstrate the complexity of beer tasting and the need to focus on detail to notice the subtle differences of flavor .
